Attaching a pdf to a Dynamics CRM mail merge, I never thought it was possible.
For months I have been trying to attach our company newsletter to a mail merge out of Dynamics CRM, all the Googling in the world didn’t help, and the You-Tube video’s made me even more despondent.
So, here’s how it’s done:
Create a marketing list
Give it a name:
Insert the members you would like to send this mail to:
Add to quick campaign
Give your campaign a name:
Select e-mail via mail merge
If you do not have a document template you would already like to attach, select blank document:
You will see the people selected
Follow the prompts on the right side of the page:
Insert merge field – that will allow names or address’ to be automatically populated
Click finish and mail merge, enter the subject of your mail and then the page will display attachments, click on these and upload your PDF to your mail merge.
